Lines: 19 Hi, What is the cure of bad cross-referencing in latex? I use the article style. At the end of section 2, I have several figures which are labeled (after running latex) as Figure 1, Figure 2 etc.(whereas it is more logical if they were labeled as Figure 2.1 .....) Now, in the first section of the article, I have a reference to the figure which is labeled by LaTeX as Figure 3, but the result of this \ref{..} comes up as 2.1 !!!!
