I am no ingres expert but we installed the university ingres from the 
unsupported tape on some VAXstation 3100s.  We also have it running
on a mVAXII under Mt Xinu BSD 4.3.  On the Mt Xinu system the  \reset
command seems to work.  On the Ultrix machine, the  \reset acts as if
you type a quit or exit tyoe command and it goes through its logout-of-
ingres routine.  Any ideas on what is going on?  A professor uses this
software in a class of his and we want to go to Ultrix on all of our
machines but this could stop us.
