I have a problem with TCP/ip  and as a result I can not use the  Tex
previer programm xdvi. I  get the : can not open display
or core-dumped messages, depending on what I do.

I run sco-unix on a stand alone 386 (no network).

I used to get, when booting the system,  
the error scosysv... host not found etc ...

The dealer sugested that I do mkdev tcp and / or mkdev wdn
and follow the defaults.

This did not solve any problem, only the error messages at boot time
became a litle different.

Any help will be greately appreciated,
