I have the same problem.  I am running a Grounhog Graphics Shadow with 1 MB
on board (ET4000 chipset) with a panasonic C1381D.  I cannot get the 800x600
modes to sync correctly, however I have no problem at 1024x768.  I believe
I have exhausted all posibilities and have not found a solution either
Help...
