More information:
	The chip is: V5000-50PC-B (Ahead)
	This is a 512K VGA board

I called Ahead (no pun intended:) and the receptionist confirmed that
what I have is a clone card, which they do not support. She gave me the 
number of their bulletin board system and I have been downloading their
updated driver sets one at a time, but so far no cigar.
