I started learning X recently on my own and in my spare time. Being a Windows
and OS/2 person , I decided to make my X window program provide the same look and feel.
To begin with I wrote a program that will read the Windows .RC (resources) file
and create a menu in the X program.  I provided all the functionality that
Windows/PM provides in the menus. 
I used XLIB thruout , because I was'nt too comfortable with Xt.
