I use Thomas Roell's X386 X Windows system and GCC 1.39. mwm reads the .mwmrc and system.mwmrc files. If I click on the button on the top left position of a window I get the pop up menu with minimize, maximize, close etc. If I click a mouse button in the root window I don't get the pop up menu which I should get (the one with xterm, restart, quit etc.). So to summarize, mwm reacts to clicks in a window but not in the root window. Is there anyone who has seen this behaviour before and knows a solution? Thanks in advance Paul Derks paul@stack.urc.tue.nl
