Melbourne, Florida Lines: 23 Does anyone know how to kill the X Window environment from Motif? We have an IBM RISC machine, and once we invoke the X Window environment along with Motif and the mwm we can only kill the window manager, but can`t get out of X. We tried killing the xinit process, but it doesn't show up when the processes are queried. The only process that shows up in X:0, and killing this cause the machine to crash. We don't want to have to re-boot the machine everytime we want to exit from X. Does anyone have any suggestions... Please e-mail to nancie@hal.CSS.GOV. Thanks!! --------------------------------------------------------------- Nancie P. Matson NET: nancie@hal.CSS.GOV ENSCO INC. MAIL: 445 Pineda Ct.
