To me human dignity is vital and there are many circumstances, of a medical nature, that can totally take it away from you. I'm not talking about people opting out or degrading the value of human life, its just that I can understand someone choosing not to endure or force their loved ones to witness an inevitable disaster resulting from a one way illness.
