Subject: Role of Shuttle during Launch


Hi there,

when I watched the Shuttle launches from KSC at TV, I often recognized this
role motion during the first 20 seconds. I do not remember if this occurs
always. Has it something to do with ?yaw-wheel-steering-mode?, is it just
a function test of the bird or is it used to adjust the plane?
BTW, since my work is related to the STS, is anybody able to post a list
of Shuttle contingency cases during launch and orbit stay time?
