Lines: 11 I have a Telebit T2500 and am having trouble connecting to V.32 modems. I get a connection okay but along with the proper stuff I get alot of garbage comming through. Checking on the line quality via the S78 register I get results of 60-99. The manual says anything above 50 should be okay. We have tested the modems togeather in the same area but when I use it long distance I get garbage. Could this be the exchange doing this or the modems. I have tried calling two other V.32 modems with the same result. Any help greatfully recieved as this is my feed to/from UseNet -- *** John Veldthuis, NZAmigaUG. johnv@tower.actrix.gen.nz ***
