I specifically exclude the vendor support and a specific set of features, not because they are not important (they may be the *most* important) but because these are sometimes difficult to establish in the case of support and there is often little difference in the features for the middle-market ones (The divergence is often very significant at the high end). What I'm after is the issues of quality: reliability (longevity) and dependibility (works consistantly and correctly connecting to many other units).
