Won't the local Baby Bell erase charges for 900 numbers (and 976, etc.) if one complains? They may force one to get those numbers blocked, but I guess that's a sure way to make sure that one doesn't make the same mistake again. If so, the point is really moot. Too, if someone is returning a call to their pager number, wouldn't they presumably be using a public phone? If so, wouldn't they get a little suspicious when they couln't place the call for a quarter?
