Newsgroups: comp.lang.lisp.x Subject: XLISP on CP/M-80 Summary: Anybody built XLISP from sources under CP/M ? Keywords: CP/M MIX TINY BINARY SIG/M Message-ID: <22787@shlump.lkg.dec.com> Date: 20 May 91 18:57:57 GMT Sender: newsdaemon@shlump.lkg.dec.com Organization: Digital Equipment Corporation Lines: 17 Has anybody got any version of XLISP to compile under CP/M-80 using the generally lame 'C' compilers available in that environment ? How about any OTHER small language in a high-level language ? A binary of V1.1 is available in SIGM Volume 118 as compiled by Sir Betz using Aztec and some assembly. Someone shipped me a UUENCODEd binary of V1.2 in which he hand-coded a bunch of stuff for because MIX C loses, but it won't execute on my system. I have an old binary of some experiment Betz did called "Tiny XLISP" that looks closest to V1.4... but alas, no source for that either. I tried building both V1.1 and V1.2 on a VAX and won with no effort, but the same code under Whitesmith's C, C/80, or MIX C loses miserably. Regrettably, rcs
