It not only has a "simple" text editor but also has a full blown ASCII text editor complete with pull down menus, wordstar command compatibility, and full source. I bought mine under TP v3.0 and upgraded to 4.0 because the port to 4.0 was non-trivial. When I got TP 5.0 the 4.0 version of editor toolbox compilied with no major changes. I didn't get 6.0, so I can't say if it will work or not. The editor toolbox is great...It includes full source and a great deal of insight into writing your own editor, or including an editor in your own programs.
