There were typically lines of 300 to 500 characters (like the one above), To balance that off, at a couple of places there were some 15 empty lines in the middle of a sentence, or even of a word. It doesn't seem probable that you would have inserted them on purpose. Improvements suggested ... Of course, as the posting contained the complete Smalltalk source, even somebody else can try to do that.
