This seems like a pretty reasonable response. Maybe some constructive solution for the uucp camp might be proposed. It's kinda sad princeton is down for the internet folks too, when I'm not sure it was an internet problem. When the smoke clears,hopefully the server will remain, but with more safeguards. Let's not get too radical and destroy a service which does have it's uses.
