Keywords: n Message-ID: <7794@awdprime.UUCP> Date: 21 May 91 17:15:42 GMT Sender: news@awdprime.UUCP Organization: IBM PSP, Austin, Tx Lines: 23 Hi, I'm thinking about building a 25 MHZ 486 EISA system with 8 MB of memory. I plan to use either a Mylex or AMI motherboard. I'm also thinking about using an Adaptec 1542B SCSI adapter with a 200 MB Maxtor drive and some sort of SVGA adapter, maybe the Diamond SPEEDSTAR+ card. My questions is does anyone out there have any experience with this configuration and/or has run MINIX on an EISA system. I want to know if there are any problems or good experiences with this proposed configuration with or without minix. Sorry if this is an old question but I'm new to this group.
