I've figured out that my problem with programs crashing with the message 
"Can't Demand Load the Applications Segment"  (sys2070) is caused by
bad blocks on my hpfs drive.

Are there any utilities out there (Anywhere, Commercial or shareware or PD)
that will check the disk sector by sector and try to loc the clusters out?

I really don't want to use the OS/2 Backup command to backup my HD to floppies 
and re-format the drive, but that is about the only thing I can think of to 
take care of this problem.
