I've captured all the messages in the non-IBM conf. since I signed on
in April.  I should look them over to see who's answering the
questions there.

BB|I'd also suggest it's a good time to take a serious look at
BB|getting a V.32 modem, sysop prices start from US$339 (see the    
BB|COMM echo).                                                      

There's a small company that plans to intro a 9600 V.32 modem, based
on the new Rockwell V.32 module, for $299.  Yes, you saw it right!
The Rockwell module is a complete V.32 modem and costs the Mfr $160
in OEM quantities.   I think USR & Hayes had better rethink their
consumer price schedules.
