Message-ID: <18May91.075034.4565@franklin.com> Date: 18 May 91 07:50:34 GMT Organization: Franklin Electronic Publishers Lines: 8 We're looking for the source code for a 65816 compiler. It doesn't have to run on the 65816, since the target is an embedded system, but it wouldn't hurt either. Another possibility is to modify the GNU C compiler for the 65816. I've heard the rumor that the GNU C compiler isn't ideal for processors that are not 32 bits; is this true? Does anyone have any opinion on whether this would be a major undertaking or not?
