I thought "now at least, I'll be able to use 640x512 16 colors" but no. That was possible only if I disabled a CLI-bitplane AND my 2nd drive. From Wb it worked even if I didn't let Dpaint close the Workbench. The main reason for this memory shortage seems to be that DPaint is stupid enough to store the "undo"-picture in CHIP-mem too.
