The A2000 keyboard has different firmware to the A500 one - they handle the C-A-A reset differently. Without a hack, The A2000 keybd will not reset the A500. (This was discussed at large before, I cannot remember the details) It works the other way around too, I bould a tower case for my friend's A500+ A590, and I used the A2000 pinout on the keyboard cable we made. Recently he bought a new A2000 which had no keyboard.
