My simms worked fine in my 8-up board and would work in my GVP card in my dealers machine but not in my A-2000. After several days of swapping simms I finally got through to GVP's tech department. There is a jumper on the GVP's that must be set to allow the memory to work correctly with older motherboards (rev 4.x). This was not mentioned anywhere in the manual and my dealer wanted me to take my system in for a motherboard upgrade (past service with this dealer indicated that this would have take about 3 months for them to add a couple of resistors :-( ). After setting the jumper, the GVP and memory has been working just fine (and all without the motherboard upgrade :-). hope this helps.... davem
