Message-ID: <91139.114916UH2@psuvm.psu.edu> Date: 19 May 91 15:49:16 GMT Organization: Penn State University Lines: 21 Have you seen this program on the Mac. It is a scream. I want one. Talking Moose is a hack that lurks in the background, and monitors what you are doing. Every so often, it pops up and says something humorous, witty, insulting, or whatever. For example, if yo select an UNDO from a menu (any menu, any program) the Moose pops up and says something like, "Can't you make up your mind?" or "Get it right the first time." When you select QUIT, he says, "Not yet! I'm not done yet." He seems to have 100s of phrases, so he rarely repeats. Also, sometimes he just pops up for no reason, and says something appropriate (or not!!) By "pops up" I mean that a little window appears in the corner of the screen containing a picture of a Moose (that looks like Bullwinkle). The Moose's lips and eyes move according to the gist of whatever he says. Any way, I laughed and laughed. I invite any of the Amiga demo builders out there to take a crack at this one. lee
