I made a mistake in recommending DOG (DiskORganizer) to optimize the
msdos volume of a HD with a PCT.  DO NOT USE DOG! It will trash your
msdos volume; at least it thrashed my small test volume. VOPT (a
commercial program) does work well on my PCT.
