Situation appears to be the same for the XETEC 924.  I've used them both
with my Epson RX and a number of drivers.  NONE of the speeded-up printer
drivers (IW2) seem to work, altho the new ImagewriterII driver is great if
you actually have an IW2 (I use one at work).
