Subject: Is there an Equivalent to the DOS RAM disk on DEC 5000?

A group is attemting to porting a PC program to the DEC. The program uses
temporary files which are stored in a RAM disk on the PC. Is it possible
to have this feature on a DEC 5000?

I have no DEC machines here so I am not a member of this news group. Could
any replies of the feasability/method be send to me direct via EMail.
