Dear DEC Internet Users:

  I have several VT1200 X Window terminals. Each of these terminals has
2 MegaBytes of RAM. I want to upgrade the system RAM on these units
to 4 MegaBytes but DEC wants $150.00 per 1 MegaByte SIMM. This is a very
high cost if these X Window Terminals can use standrad 1 MegaByte SIMM's.

Does anyone out there have any experience upgrading these terminals to
4 MegaBytes? Do they use standard 1 MegaByte MAC type SIMM's? Please
