Could someone try it out on Excel 3.0 for the Mac to see if the problem has been fixed in the 'later' release? (1) Start Excel 3.0. It opens with 'Worksheet1', ready for action. (2) Open the 'AutoSave' add-in. (3) Open the AutoSave dialog from the Options menu, and set the frequency to 'High'. (4) Wait approximately 3.7519723 minutes :-) for the AutoSave to kick in. (5) When AutoSave executes, click 'Save' in the first dialog. (6) Press or click 'OK' in the Standard File dialog to accept the saved sheet name. At this point, under Excel 3.0 for Windows, the sheet will be saved, and the add-in (macro) will error at cell B98. The reason appears to be that once saved, the new worksheet is called 'Worksheet1.XLS'. The name change is throwing off the macro logic. I suspect this will NOT happen on the Mac, since we don't do silly things like appending '.XLS' to Excel worksheets :-) However, I'd like to know for sure (since I don't yet have Excel 3.0 for the Mac). If someone is feeling _really_ generous, could they mail me a copy of the Excel for Mac 'AutoSave' macro? Then I could compare the two versions to see if they are the same or not. Thanks much!
