I suspect the reason is that Australia (and Canada) get different versions of these programs that have a 'B' in the version number. That is: MacDraw 1.1Bv2 and FileMaker Pro 1.0Bv1. The compatability checker is parochial enough to not know about these, and hance says 'not avail.' The B, I suspect, stands for 'British' (dictionary). The Claris main dictionary is version 1.03B. I have not yet tried the 'Australian' compatability checker. Talk to Apple Canada. BTW Apple Australia sells system 7 for $185 but provides no support. Thanks mates. Resellers are discounting it to $99 and then charging extra for support. We get it in another month or so. The lucky country.... __________________________________________________________________________ Scott Sutherland Internet: s.sutherland@trl.oz.au X400: g=scott s=sutherland ou=trl o=telecom pr=telecom006 ad=telememo c=au Telecom Research Laboratories Voice: +61 3 541 6340 P.O Box 249 CLAYTON VIC 3168 Australia Fax: +61 3 543 1944 __________________ "This is TYPICAL" - Basil Fawlty __________________
