No problem, thought I, I'll just give Symantec UK a ring. Well, they don't have a SUM-II version for 7.0. Not are they expecting one. Nor will they say when one will become available. In fact, the tech. support guy seemed to imply fairly definitely that there *isn't* a version of SUM-II for Sys7.0. So, I turn to you, oh great Net. My assumption is that Symantec UK, being a far-flung outpost here in Europe, don't know what they're talking about. SUM-II is a well-known popular product, so there *must* be a 7.0-aware version, right? Do I have to call Symantec trans-Atlantic to get some action out of them? Or am I stuck with 6.0.7 until Symantec get around to updating? I don't think they have much of an excuse, to be honest. 7.0 has been Beta for centuries, hasn't it?
