I'm not really sure what's caused this. I'm running System 7.0 Thanks for the feedback. I've been working on 1.0 this past week off and on. You can bet this little "feature" will go bye-bye. Don't worry about your set up (I'm running Sys 7 too). What I *don't* do is flush out all the 'flaps' that you accumulate. As per why the space bar is not recognized as a "release me" signal, I've never encountered this. I'll sift through the code though and see if I can't make this more reliable. So now I'm wondering - is that it for bugs? Only that? Wow. BTW I'm also trying to shave a few milliseconds here and there to pick up the game speed when you get over two enemies (past level 10). john calhoun
