Message-ID: <21001@albert.dsir.govt.nz> Date: 19 May 91 23:16:07 GMT Organization: DSIR, Auckland, New Zealand Lines: 22 Hi, I'm looking around for an Ethernet adaptor for my SE. I want to put an accelerator in the SE's slot so I am interested in a SCSI-based ethernet solution. MacConnection sell the Nuvotech NuvoLink SC. Is there some kind person out there who could give me some feedback on this product? Does it need its own mains supply or does it takes its power from the Mac SCSI port? I will be using 10BaseT twisted pair. Does this product support twisted pair or will I need to use a balun? Finally, are there any other suitable products that people know of? Sorry if it appears that these questions could be answered by reading the data sheet for this product but such things are not always easy to track down in NZ. Thanks in advance, Chris Bowman DSIR Auckland New Zealand
