Go into the System file with ResEdit (You have turned off the warnings by now,
right :-) ), remove the FRSV resources-- there are two of them, one uppercase,
one lowercase-- you can recognize them by the icon which is an 'A' with the
word RESERVED (doesn't that violate the Human Interface guidlines)

Does SetPaths still work?

Hmm, could be a neat background-only hack-- does it work if you set it to
background-only?
