Keywords: they're gone! Message-ID: <53066@apple.Apple.COM> Date: 19 May 91 05:33:40 GMT Organization: Apple Computer Inc., Cupertino, CA Lines: 27 Well, they're sort of gone. Here's the details: IIcx, 8/80, 8bit Apple video card. For the moment, assume it's running a clean System 7, with extensions disabled. In 256 color mode, all works fine. The desktop windows display the icl8's in color, and look good. When I switch to 16 color mode, things appear to work - the icons get redrawn with the icl4 resources. But this only lasts until I close the Monitors' window. As soon as I do this, or click on a finder window, all icons revert to the ICN# resource! Argh! I have tried rebuilding the desktop, with no success. Any ideas as to the cause and/or the solution??? Thanks in advance -rob. (And, if there's anyone out there running System 7 on a IIcx 8/80, could you please e-mail me? I'd like to ask a favor ...) -- /---------------------------------------------------------------------------\ | R.
