I've now checked a third IIcx running System 7.  This one is fine!  Trash
aliases can be created and modified/moved/double clicked without any
problems at all.

To make matters even more confusing, the System 7 on this new cx was
installed off of the >same< masters as my home machine!  Now I'm 
very confused.  Any other cx owners (other than the one I've heard
from already) who would like to share their experiences, please e-mail
me...
