The fmap resource 17017 in the Finder contains:
  TEXTttxt
  PICTttxt
This is where the Finder looks to see how to open documents with unknown
owners.  You can add your own, too.  For example, you can tell it to
open Microsoft Word documents with MacWrite II (or vice versa).

Any guesses about the other fmap resources?
