Summary: Three new problems... Keywords: icon colour keycaps apple menu Message-ID: Date: 21 May 91 14:54:58 GMT Article-I.D.: mullauna.mtc.674837698 Sender: news@cs.mu.OZ.AU Distribution: aus Organization: Comp Sci, University of Melbourne, Australia Lines: 18 I have a problem with diappearing colour icons in the Finder in 7.0. Basically if I access the colour picker, or run the General cdev, the icons revert to B&W, ALL of them, until I run something else, like Resedit 2.1, which opens a CGrafPort, presumably. what is wrong? I can duplicate this, and am disgusted that mine is the only machine that seems to do it...I repeated it on a Mac IIci, 5MB/40, Sys 7.0, vanilla, (although adding extra inits and cdevs makes no difference... Another bug I have noticed: Where the hell is my coloured Apple over the menu bar? I have that cruddy B&W job, even in 256 colour mode... * - A design error, Apple - It is impossible to type certain symbolic characterssuck as those in Zapf Dingbats, anymore, which are represented by accent keys while using _KeyCaps_7.0_, because it modifies the appearance, and apparently action, of the keys, and places whatever the second key you type is, rather than the option-char that you originally typed. How is it that no one else has these problems (I have just read through 500 postings...) Please email me a response, I can't find _anything_ on here anymore... Thanks, Mike Cutter. Bozo...*8o)
