If you're having difficulty getting System 7.0 from ftp.apple.com, the 
University of Texas at Austin Computation Center has recently received
permission to make System 7.0 available in its Microlib/Mac software 
archives.

Microlib/Mac is available for anonymous ftp on the following three machines:

The System 7.0 800K disk images are in the microlib/mac/sys-soft/system-70
directory.  FDHD images are not currently in place.  HyperCard 2.1 is not
covered by our agreement with Apple, so we cannot make that available.
