How many folks do you suppose sat down in front of MacPaint and didn't get up for four hours? I vividly remember a customer of mine coming by the store to see the Mac for the first time: he sat down, fired up MacPaint, sat there for an hour, then got up and said 'got to have one of those!', and took one home ($2,495/no discounts - or was it $2,995?)!
