I constantly receive the following message while the NFS works properly:

  Cannot register service: RPC: Timed out
  Unable to register (NLM_PROG, NLM_VERS, tcp).
  Cannot register service: RPC: Timed out
  rpc.statd: unable to register (NLM_PROG, NLM_VERS, udp).

I would be happy to hear from anybody about how to get rid of these annoying
things.
