Pixels get corrupted. Message-ID: <496@data.UUCP> Date: 21 May 91 18:56:49 GMT Article-I.D.: data.496 Distribution: na Organization: Microcosm, Beaverton, OR Lines: 29 I have a strange problem when I'm running windows 3.0. Every now and then when something is being moved across the screen the pixels in a small square area get corrupted. So my display eventually has all of these little black/white/inverse colored little boxes scattered all over the screen. Since I usually run my apps in full screen mode I can cleanse the screen by making it a window and then going back to full screen mode. However, doing this is really very annoying. Has anyone else seen this problem and found a cure?? Any help greatly appreciated. Here are some praticulars to aid in making judgements/decisions. ALR 386-20 Dos 3.3 WD8003 card pcnfs installed Boca 16Bit (s?)vga 600x800 (I think) Conner 100M HD Note: I didn't have this problem until I switched from an ATI EGA Wonder card to a Boca VGA card. I have talked to Boca and they claim there are no problems using the card with windows. Sorry if this is a FAQ, but I haven't seen anyone else complaining. -- John Mantey Microtek International, DSD john@data.uucp or uunet!intelhf!percy!data!john 3300 NW 211th Terrace Those who know what's best for us, Hillsboro, Or 97124 Must rise and save us from ourselves. -Rush- 503-645-7333 x321
