What version of B News are you using? When we had B News (2.11.19, I think) we used the moderation feature the same way you are, and it worked, because the news Subject became the mail Subject, etc. When we switched to C News we started seeing what you're seeing: news headers treated as text of mail. I asked the C News authors about this and was convinced (by Henry, I think) that using the news headers for mail headers was not really a Good Thing. And I don't see any reason to do it other than to support what was, of course, a hack. So regardless of what part of your news system it's coming from, maybe you should reconsider changing your software and use a proper gateway program instead. I think the newsgate stuff handles cross-posts and other fun things better anyway. Cathy -- Cathy Foulston + cathyf@rice.edu + Rice University, Network & Systems Support
