Summary: How to get started Message-ID: <1991May21.040239.1914@wolves.uucp> Date: 21 May 91 04:02:39 GMT Followup-To: news.software.nntp Organization: Wolves Den UNIX Lines: 15 X-Checksum-Snefru: 6d70cd01 d7983834 111d86b0 6f4efb57 My site at work is getting its internet connection (finally) next month, and my disconnected subnet joins the rest of the world. This means that I can start/resume doing (some) newsreading at the office via nntp. The only problem is that I don't quite know where to start. Should I get the relevant RFC's and start divining their intent? Is there an tutorial introduction to NNTP? Is there any thing else I should know too? Replies in any form appreciated, I will summarize in a week or two. -- Gregory G.
