Message-ID: <1991May20.183550.20972@vicorp.com> Date: 20 May 91 18:35:50 GMT Reply-To: ron@vicorp.com (Ron Peterson) Organization: V. I. Corporation, Amherst, Massachusetts Lines: 7 Why are there no LED's with multiple diode emitters in a single package (or are there)? A standard sized LED had enough real estate in it to hold more than one emitter---there are 7-segment displays that are smaller than a standard package. Seems like there would be a demand for high brightness, multiply redundant (parallel connection) LED's. ron@vicorp.com or unnet!vicorp!ron
