According to _Famous_Sea_Battles_ by David Howarth:

"... The _Rodney_ at 10 o'clock was firing 9 gun salvoes of 16-inch
shells at a range of 3,000 yards.   She also torpedoed her, probably
the only occasion in history when one battleship torpedoed another..."

"At 10.15 am the _KG5_ (_King_George_V_) and _Rodney_ had urgently
to turn for home for lack of fuel..."

The book shortly after describes the _Dorsetshire_'s attack on
Bismarck.
