Discussion of the future of the trial hierarchy is going on now in
the news.admin group.

One suggestion that is gaining some acceptance is a switch from "trial.soc"
to "soc.trial" to avoid the problem of propagation.

If this is done, it is possible that soc.trial.culture.italian would be
created forthwith, assuming the vote is abandoned.  Or the vote could
continue and you could have nothing further to do with trials.
