Message-ID: <492@frcs.UUCP> Date: 23 May 91 05:24:43 GMT Organization: Free Range Computer Systems CC Lines: 14 I'm interested in recommendations for PC-based X servers. We want to access UNIX hosts, running X applications, from MSDOS-based PCs via an Ethernet LAN. Some aspects of particular interest and concern are: reliability; speed; number of colours supported; compatibility with TCP/IP and related software (public domain packet drivers, Wallongong, etc); compatibility with MS-Windows; compatibility with different implentations of X. Mail me and I'll post a summary. Peter Greenwood peter@frcs.UUCP ...!uunet!m2xenix!frcs!peter
