Its usually in rgb.txt which is usually in the standard X library, which is usually: /usr/lib/X11 so usually, the file will be /usr/lib/X11/rgb.txt I usually so much here 'cause everything I read from MIT reads that this is the 'standard' directory. I heve met many machines who choose differently.
